‘The approach we took to the furniture was rather like our approach to the house as a whole,’ says Jonathan Tuckey, who imaginatively modernised this seventeenth-century chalet in the Swiss Alps. ‘We really liked a lot of the things that were in the house already and decided to hang on to them. This stylish nineteenth-century house on London’s Portobello Road is the work of Eleanora Cunietti, one half of Carden Cunietti design practice.
