Does your daughter have princess tastes, but your budget is a little less kingly? No worries, you can easily add pretty touches without spending a fortune. Take a tip from this room found on C Magazine, and adorn a simple bunk bed with lots of colorful tassels. Next, add a collection of fun and colorful throw pillows, and then hang a feather boa on the wall. Voila, the bedroom is ready for your little princess and your bank account is still intact.

To give your master bedroom a lasting, stately design, consider investing in a built-in closet-organization system. These can be customized to your space and needs. If you prefer a less-permanent solution, open shelving can give the space a modern feel. A foot trunk also works if your taste veers toward the traditional.

You guys, this post has been a long time in making it onto the blog. It goes back to March to be exact. A bit over 4 months ago, we moved our girls rooms around. I’ve got tons of pictures for you today. I’m hoping you enjoy them and that maybe they can give you some girls bedroom ideas for your own house.

Baskets are extremely versatile and attractive decorating tools that can add tons of much needed storage space in a small bedroom. Another plus is that baskets will complement virtually any design style, so have fun choosing ones that are just right for you. Helpful Hint: Keep reading materials out-of-sight, but not out-of-mind, by stashing a couple of baskets within arm’s reach of your bed. Photo courtesy of Rie Sterling.

We are in the process of transforming our little one’s nursery into her big girl’s room. I’m going for a Scandinavian style with a touch of colour just like the one in this picture. The ingredients to achieve the perfect kids’s Nordic style room should include geometric patterns – you can use them in items of bedding or storage like boxes and bags. Cool prints to hang on the wall using washi tape. Picture Shelves are great for displaying art, books or small toys/decorative accessories. Adopt a minimal colour palette: black, white and one or two pastel colours. Finally, introduce a Charles Ray Eames table and chairs and an old fashioned looking white metal bed. A must to achieve the perfect Scandinavian look! Image Credit

HGTV fan lolabboutique ditched the usual little girl decor and created an antique, cottage-style bedroom that can easily work for all ages. To add a personalized and playful touch to any little girl’s bedroom, find unique representations of the letters that spell her name or her first initial. To mirror the framed L-O-L-A letters in this space, find antique wooden frames, paint them white and distress the edges for a simple weathered look. Print letters in various fonts on a manila background and add to the frame.

To vary solid-color walls, try this easy, do-it-yourself project. Mark out different sizes of squares on the wall with painter’s tape. Then fill in the shapes with three to four different colors. Here, bold raspberry, tangy orange, and sweet pink squares spruce up a peach background.

For a touch of magic in everyday life, look no further than fairy lights. Twined through sheer drapes, the tiny twinkling bulbs give a room an ethereal feel that’s sure to delight. The delicate glow can help to brighten a space without feeling too intrusive, and the enchanted aesthetic pairs well with just about any design style that a typical floor or table lamp might overpower or feel incongruous in. In warm white, they’ll provide a pleasant radiance that can transform a more austere room into a cheerful wonderland.

For a simple window treatment for a child?s room, opt for a patterned Roman blind, choosing a blackout lining if you need to cut the light. Always fit a safety device to secure blind cords out of the way of children.

Kids are a great joy of family life, but one thing that can be difficult is decorating a bedroom of someone that grows so quickly before your eyes! I’m really big on gender neutral design and looking at this room, you wouldn’t be able to tell whether or not it belonged to a girl or a boy. It’s so bright and natural with bits of contemporary and Scandinavian design. Little elements like the blackboard, bean bags and lights are used to give the room a warm feeling even though the design is really simple. I love where the bed is placed in the corner by a large window too.  My top tip for decorating kids bedrooms is to maximise storage and to keep things simple, kids change their mind and get bored of a lot of things very quickly, we’ve all been there! It is a common belief that most girls are quite attracted to the color pink. So if you are thinking of decorating the room for your twin girls, you may want to include the color pink wherever possible. The floor carpet and the bed covers can be matched. You could also use a different, probably a lighter shade of pink for the walls and furniture. To add a bit of color, you may add white or something contrasting such as green. Adding polka dots in design on pillow covers or the rug may add an elegant edge to your twin teenage girls bedroom.

Finding bedroom ideas to work in the space you have isn’t always easy. You might have a small or awkward space to work with, or sloping walls that get in the way. Bedrooms need to incorporate various pieces of furniture, or built-in storage, in order to give you a relaxing place to sleep as well as hold your various possessions and clothing. But don’t worry, there’s always a bedroom design that will work with the space you have. Get inspiration from the thousands of pictures from designers and stylists on Houzz; even if you’re struggling with a small bedroom you can find space saving or decorating ideas that could work in your space.

i really like this site to get ideas for my bedroom becuase i have just moved into my new house, but the only thing is, is the rooms on the website are really big and my room as not as big as the rooms on your website so it makes it hard for me to find a room that i love and that is approriate for my size of the room. i wish my bedroom was as big as these ones so i could do one of these designes. but it is unfortunatly isnt….

Many people believe that a small room has to be painted white or a very pale pastel, but in reality, dark colors make the walls visually recede, increasing the perceived size of the space. And if that isn’t reason enough to consider going dark on your walls, then just take a look at the sophistication, serenity, and beauty of the deep purple walls here. Dark gray, navy or indigo blue, or dusky dark green are equally restful and lovely.

Using mirrors will add depth and dimension to a small bedroom because of their unique ability to act like additional windows. Hanging several smaller mirrors in a group can add lots of visual interest, while using one large mirror will instantly create the illusion of more square footage. Photo courtesy of Layla Palmer.

Decorating a small bedroom can get extra tricky with odd nooks and corners. Use light, crisp colors to combat unique features like lower ceilings. Bright whites look luxe in any sized room, and even turn this slanted-ceiling kids’ room into a spacious play zone.

Why I love this room: I’m a great believer in the ‘tidy home, tidy mind’ ethos, which is why I feel so at home with light, minimal spaces. This bedroom has only essential furniture in it and bright white walls to make the most of the light. Texture is key, from the bedding and rugs to the Z1 cotton lamp. I love the use of the small potted plants here, adding life and a splash of vibrant green to the room. The light wood flooring breaks up the white to introduce some warmth and the suspended clothes rails make a statement without the need to take up floor space. Image credit

Anyone who reads my blog will know that I ADORE dark, moody, inky walls so this bedroom image caught my attention immediately! Pairing that gorgeous deep teal paint with the rose pinks gives the room a feminine touch without it being ‘too girly’. The off-centered image gives a quirky touch and the white frame contrasts beautifully against the dark background making the image pop all the more. The teal blanket beautifully ties in with the paint, brightening the space, and the marble print cushion adds texture and is perfectly on trend! This bedroom is a grown up, beautifully modern, luxurious space that I would love to sink into. The only thing I would change would be the size of the headboard, the bigger the headboard the better in my eyes! Image credit

I love this bedroom – it was one of the first I designed and the brief was to create an elegant and serene sanctuary. The soft Cornforth White walls combined with the decadent wallpaper by Tapet Café really do complement one another and create a very soothing mood. The Vogue print adds the perfect ‘pop’ of colour and the large mirror reflects a lot of light into the space. The chandelier by Verner Panton completes the look and adds decadence. Image credit

Hot, tropical colours will make for an energetic bedroom – it might help the girl who lives in it get out of bed faster in the morning, but then again… Hot pinks and deep oranges blend beautifully, while citrus yellow accents, such as the bed frame, and crisp white bed linen cut through the red-based hues to add a fresh hit to the overall look.

Your bedroom is the place you go to relax and escape everyday life. When designed correctly, bedrooms are soothing sanctuaries full of cozy bedding and peaceful decor that make you feel both happy and calm. While adults prefer a space that’s calm and understated, teens appreciate vibrantly colored, high energy rooms. The wall is the biggest area you can work with in a bedroom. Some of the best teen bedroom ideas involve the walls. Here are our favorite:

Create the illusion of more space by limiting the color palette. If you use similar hues on walls, furnishings and bedding, the bedroom appears larger. The lines between all the different elements will be blurred, and your eye will move effortlessly around the room. To add interest, inject a few pops of a contrasting color. Some are more serious; others feature familiar (and popular) pink, orange and red schemes. All of the rooms are practical, featuring workspaces, bookcases or shelving systems, and beautiful cabinets especially designed for teenage girls. Finally, a mirror is a mandatory item in any girl’s bedroom, so you will notice that mirrors have a special status in some of the photos below.

A rainbow of bright hues shines through this room and touches everything from pillows to walls. When using a strong palette of colors, repeat a particular element to create a sharp look. In this room, circles take the leading role, appearing on bedding, walls, the rug, and artwork. Also use a neutral color, such as white, for furniture, to soften bold colors.

While blue is often a go-to color for boys’ bedrooms, that doesn’t mean it’s no-girls-allowed. Take on this hue for a cool girl room idea. Whether you choose to go vibrant, pastel, or dark, use organic or floral prints, billowy window treatments, and layers of bedding to soften the look.

Ohh wow, ” Take That” from what i understand lizzy and oil said that the rooms were really big not big enough. Because my room is nbot as big of any of these rooms!!! Your just putting words in there mouths!! Just Saying. lol. Anyways, niceee roomes. Good ideas!!!!

You are all totally missing the point of this. These are ideas for you, not things that you HAVE to do.So maybe you like the first or the second or the 24th. Maybe you don’t have the space or the money. What you could do is look for things in your room that are similar to the things in the picture. Secondly the reason the walls in some are bare are for a reason. The space on the wall if for you to hang your posters or pictures or just random stuff you like. Also if you notice how in some pictures the desk, bed, and entertainment area are like one huge piece. Perfect for small rooms. I am 13 and I am getting my room redone for my birthday and also looking for designs for my room. While I like some of these none are any I feel express myself so I won’t be choosing any designs similar to those in the pictures.

Bedding can make or break a space, especially in a tween girl’s room where anything too cute can be too juvenile and anything too highbrow can be too adult. Instead of traditional florals, add an updated touch to a tween girl’s bedscape with overscale botanical prints.

Pom-poms, polka dots, bunting and crochet might sound like a little too much to have all in one space, but treated right and these fun prints, patterns and textures can create a bright and brilliant bedroom for a teenage girl. Balance warm orange and yellow tones with pale blues and expanses of white, if you don’t want it to feel overwhelming. However, it’s an ideal space to let your teen play with design options.

Great read! I spent minutes reading your blog and I’m quite amazed of your ideas, I hope you could share us a video tutorial for beginners, my apartment really needs this tips but don’t know how to start.

A vibrant headboard upholstered in a mix of patterns makes this girl’s room ultra personal. The shape of the headboard and other girls’ bedroom decor shown here speaks to the creative side of your child. A neutral backdrop of soft gray walls allows the cheery fabrics to shine (you can also use girl’s bedroom wallpaper for this project). Keeping other decor simple in solid colors ensures that pieces can last from childhood well into her teen years; just make sure she is a part of the planning so the bedroom continues to reflect her unique personality!

My girls are very close, like best friends. I worried about them being in their own rooms that it would break some of that bond. I worried about lots of aspects of them having their girls bedroom furniture teen room. I thought about it a ton. Maybe too much. It boiled down to the fact that they were staying up late EVERY. NIGHT. TALKING. So cute and so sweet that they had all that sister time and chatting. The issue is that they were staying up late every night and they were ALWAYS cranky and our house was suffering.

For girls who like a subtle vintage/ classic country style, the shabby chic bedroom is a winning option. Sit ditsy florals and mix-and-match furniture in front of a wall hung with your teen’s personal gallery, and finish with quirky vintage accents, such as a tailor’s dummy (which doubles up as a clothes horse!).

When searching flea markets for dressers, keep in mind that nine-drawer and 12-drawer configurations offer enough concealed storage not only for holding clothes, but also for keeping things like books and diaries neatly organized yet out of sight. i love all the design and they are wonderful.. but it must be someone for guys so they can make their rooms design…. plss let me know am teen boy.@ FAY and SANDRA. i want u to know that we are all here to look at it and comment but not to attack each other, each and everyone have his or her own choice, so u must be aware of that and no one should sound rude to anyone. thank you i hope u both will understand each other.

I was drawn to this space initially because of the use of pattern and colour in the cushions.  The navy blue and mustard hues are an intriguing but very complementary pairing; with the pattern visually lifting the entire space.  The warmth of the earthy tone-on-tone colour palette has soothing atmospheric qualities: perfect for a bedroom.  But the showstopper is the seamless incorporation of industrial inspired design via the vintage wall lighting.  An excellent illustration of how urban styling can be blended into a space without appearing too harsh or cold. Give children’s rooms a grown up feel with a chic feature wall. In this scheme, a http://www.telemundoamarillo.com/story/37622080/news flock wallpaper injects instant glamour to the look. It’s teamed with a white day bed, which doubles up as a sofa – ideal for smaller schemes. Pink accents, like the rug and beanbag, mirror the wallpaper, while storage boxes are tucked under the bed, filled with toys and other bits.

No matter what piques your daughter’s interest, she probably needs plenty of storage for her treasures. Take a cue from the kitchen for organization. Kitchen cabinetry works well in girl’s bedroom designs. Here, semicustom cabinets act as a built-in around the bed, and drawers beneath the bed take advantage of untapped storage space.

What a fantastic article! Really glad I found this, so many excellent ideas and tips when renovating your bedroom. We spend so much time in our bedroom that it`s important we make it a relaxing and enjoyable room to be in.

When it comes to feng shui bedrooms, a free-flowing layout is crucial. The ideal placement for your bed is as far away from the door as possible, but still in a position that lets you see the entrance; usually, the corner diagonally across from the door is the best spot. Try and avoid having your head under a window due to the ebb and flow of energy going in and out; this causes disturbed and interrupted sleep. Do not position your bed so as to have your feet point out the door while you’re sleeping; this is called the “Death Position” as the deceased are carried out feet first, and sleeping this way is said to drain your life force.

If pink and purple don’t suit your child, look for girl’s room paint ideas that incorporate neutral hues or shades of blue. Gray wallpaper provides a blank canvas in this shared kid’s bedroom, allowing blue painted bunk beds and orange bedding to take center stage.

I also show how to create 2 kinds of DIY pillows (no sew) for my bedroom. Room décor can’t get any better than that! For the first DIY pillow decor I write a word smile on the pillow using yarn. On the second pillow I painted a pretty chevron pattern using blue and pink fabric paint. You basically need only a pillowcase and your creativity for this DIY!

A light, airy guest room gets a dose of vintage charm with an antique iron bed and canary prints from a 1951 picture book hung on the wall. Traditional accents keep the space feeling cozy and classic.

I love a crisp, clean, modern bedroom like this one from NylonPinksy. I love to switch up an ‘expected’ design of a space, with something unexpected like using two different lamps on the nightstands (as in this photo).

You may need to defy convention when it comes to design ideas for small bedrooms. Specifically, get creative with the furniture layout! In this room, the bed slightly overlaps the two windows, but the placement provides ample walkways. Just be sure to move furniture several inches away from the window to make room for blinds and curtains.

Create a classic coastal haven with a nautical-themed bedroom that makes guests feel at home by the sea. A red, white, and blue color scheme and ocean-inspired accents, such as this sailboat portrait, hint at the theme without going overboard.

This bedroom ticks a lot of boxes for me with the herringbone floor, contemporary light fitting and soft linen bedding. I always have a soft spot for period properties and the owners of this home have highlighted the gorgeous high ceiling with a dusty pink colour – a bold but highly effective way to add colour into a room without it being overwhelming. Also, by bringing the curtain pole the full width of the wall, the curtains do not cover the window at all – allowing for maximum light and a really luxurious feel with all of that lovely soft fabric. Weathered shutters add a touch of shabby chic flair to this cozy gray and white bedroom from Décor Gold Designs. It’s easy to work a vintage vibe into even a small bedroom – use an antique chest as a nightstand or footboard, set an old door in place of a headboard, or adorn your walls with framed vintage embroidered handkerchiefs, maps or botanical designs.

Eye-popping aqua makes a statement in this bedroom as a striking backdrop for crisp white trim and girl’s bedroom accessories. Pops of pink, inspired by the cherry blossom tree painted on the wall, contrast the room’s ultra-colorful walls. Through the white doors, a bright white room awaits with furniture placed to make it the perfect reading nook. Subtle girl’s room themes like this can grow with her into teen years and beyond.

This townhouse was designed for a collector and we wanted to ensure that every room particularly the bedroom remained elegant and classic while providing a backdrop for the magnificent collection of works of art and antiques. The antique carpet provided us with the initial inspiration for the colour scheme of the bedroom; we chose to echo its green tones throughout the room from the walls to details and furnishings like the cushions.

For the teenage photog, displaying favorite snaps is a source of pride that gives a space a singular uniqueness that can’t be imitated. This sweet design can be incorporated into many teen girl room ideas and serve as a centerpiece of a space. Starting with a small heart and slowly building it up is a fun and meaningful project to share with friends and family, giving the artwork that much more sentimentality. When completed, make it even more of a focal point by “framing” it with icicle lights, realizing a tangible personification of the warm glow the photos’ subjects evoke.

Art is often overlooked in children’s and tween’s rooms; however, it can completely change the space and serve as a source of inspiration for the rest of the decor. This room was designed for a tween who was named after legendary bluegrass singer/songwriter Lucinda Williams. Commissioning an artist to draw an original portrait of the singer and having it professionally framed not only added a feeling of individuality to the room, it served as the inspiration for the room’s violet, black, white and gold palette.

Moody, masculine & deliciously unconventional, Scott Newkirk’s New York bedroom is my idea of the perfect retreat. He has created a surprisingly luxurious getaway which is both atmospheric & calming. Image credit

I agree that these rooms are unrealistic and too perfect. I’m currently trying to re-decorate my room and none of the above were helpful in providing even the slightest inspiration. If you are looking to develop a more traditional and also traditional look; you will naturally want to select a wood headboard and also coordinating side tables. An even more modern-day look would normally utilize an iron headboard and also free of charge side items.

I agree with the decision to have the younger child in the larger room. Younger kids toys are larger and they tend to play on the floor more than older kids. Do the girls tend to play together in both rooms or do they migrate to the larger room?

With stylish gray walls and mature furnishings, this little girl’s bedroom can keep her company for years to come. The contemporary white desk and nightstands are suitable for a young girl but can easily make the transition to pre-teen and older. Design by Nicole Sassaman

I’m drawn to minimalist interiors because I find space, clean lines and simplicity extremely calming. For me, a bedroom should be clear of clutter. Like a blissful sanctuary to escape to at the end of a busy day. I love the elegance of this room, the grey bed, bedding and classic chair give it character. While the glass doors bring a little bit of the outside in. It’s a stunning space and I’m sure it’s an uplifting room to wake up in. Image credit

If you choose to decorate your bedroom with one hue, be sure to vary the shades to create a calming vibe. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns (florals and stripes live well together) to add visual interest.

Bedding can make or break a space, especially in a tween girl’s room where anything too cute can be too juvenile and anything too highbrow can be too adult. Instead of traditional florals, add an updated touch to a tween girl’s bedscape with overscale botanical prints.

Add a wallpaper to create a fun accent wall for an easy bedroom update. Choose one wall to be the focal point for your room and add wallpaper to create your accent wall. For the bedroom below we selected the wall behind the bed. This highlights the bed and gives it a more majestic appearance. Then, add some fun accessories in similar colors to your wallpaper to tie the look together.

Coral, turquoise and cream white…all the favorite colors for teens, and they go with each other so well and turn out to be so beautiful in this bedroom. The turquoise patterned wallpaper gives more fresh look and the window seat…Love all these without a reason! via House of Turquoise.

Today’s teenagers are design-conscious and up to date on the latest trends. But they’re torn between childhood and adulthood. Most teens have beloved toys they’re not ready to give up, but look for a room that’s older and more sophisticated than their childhood room.

This monogram is another easy decoration DIY that you can make in no time and use in many ways. It’s as easy to make as getting a hollow letter block with the little girl’s initial and then fill the open space with fabric or paper roses. You can use it to decorate the walls or set it on top of furniture. lulus.

All the square footage in the world won’t make a difference if it’s crowded with stuff. “Another trick that won’t cost you any money is to keep your room clean,” he says. “You can still accessorize like you would a larger room, but keeping out the unnecessary clutter is a no-brainer.”

Large pieces of furniture can make small rooms look cramped and even smaller. If your closet is big enough, you can avoid this problem by using it as a home for your chest or dresser. You will free up floor space, make your room appear larger and have all of your clothes in one convenient spot.

Let’s face it, teenagers and orderly rooms are a rare combination. Messy rooms seem to be a teenager’s rite of passage. Good storage options will be the best feature they didn’t think they needed but will appreciate.

I all honesty, I don’t see how this is supposed to help make the most out of a small room. First of all, they just look like normal bedrooms. And anyay, I guess it’s not what I googled for. The reason I was looking for a post on how to maximize on small room space is because right now my bedroom is also my living room is also my office. I live in NY and I am SURE I am not the only person with this sort of living arrangement. Real estate costs. And quite frankly we are paying for every cubic inch of space in a room here in the city, meaning loft beds and over head storage and really anything and everything to maximize on space and provide order to a multi-purpose room. I don’t need to make my small space images of bedroom decorating ideas for college girls bigger. For what? I need it to feel functionally bigger, since I can’t actually have it bigger.

If wallpaper  is your or your child’s preference, decide whether this will cover every wall or be a feature on one wall. Wallpaper can be a trickier option than paint, as themed designs may not always be flavour of the month in years to come, so they might need to be updated relatively frequently.

Even better, use sleek, contemporary built-ins for additional storage. Built-ins maximize storage while looking like they’re not even there. A good built-in around your bed creates a cozy sleeping nook while adding plenty of storage.

Although your bedroom color scheme is often a personal opinion, there are some paint colors that are more relaxing and better suited for your sleeping area. Studies have found that people with blue bedrooms often get more sleep because of the calmness it elicits. Brighter colors may lead to a better mood, but they also might keep you up longer at night. If you have a significant other with opposing tastes, consider master bedroom colors falling within the neutral range — such as variations of green, gray or brown — to keep everyone happy. Sharing many bedroom pictures that you’ve saved to your ideabook can be a great way to help your significant other get a sense of your bedroom remodeling ideas.

design your own room games for girls 10 yr old girls bedroom ideas

My girls are very close, like best friends. I worried about them being in their own rooms that it would break some of that bond. I worried about lots of aspects of them having their own room.

These are some some incredibly creative ideas! I love how these designs make the most of small spaces. Another option is to purchase furniture with multiple purposes. A great choice is a Zoom-Room or Zoom-Desk. Zoom-Room is a 21st century version of the Murphy Bed. It’s a remote controlled retractable Wall Bed that snakes up behind the cabinet instead of folding down, so you can put your flat screen TV or bookshelves in front. The Zoom-Room is customizeable with custom cabinets, home office accessories, finishes, and materials. It combines both function and great design.

Most bedrooms function as living and playing spaces, which means decorating needs to work double-duty. Choose a rich color, like this terra-cotta, and introduce accents in natural tones to keep the room feeling warm and comfortable.

Designer Candice Olson created the ultimate girl’s getaway by turning a small bay window into the background for an inspiring workstation and craft area. The white built-in desk unit provides plenty of drawers, cubbies and cabinets for keeping supplies tucked away and out of sight. Dramatic magenta track curtains create an easy separation between workspace and sleep space.

Humphrey advocates mixing it up when it comes to scale. “I also like to use the largest area rug that will fit,” he says. “A canopy bed can be a cool juxtaposition in a small room. It’s unexpected, and playing with scale (big bed, small room) can be a fun way to stick it to the design purists.”

we just moved in to our new house and I was looking for a gorgeous design for a gilrly room specially I want my friends to come over. Then I saw these cute styles and I was wondering if you could suggest me what coul be better. My room is kinda small, maybe a size of a small veranda and I have my little window above. Our house is maroon so what would be the perfect color combination and design to this kind of room. Thank you and I’m hoping for your suggestions ?

Choosing the right rug for a tween space can be tough since their tastes change so frequently. While light-colored solid rugs are prone to showing spills, stains or dirt, textured solids are great for hiding imperfections. This black, white and gray wool rug helps tie the black and white accents of the color scheme together while also offering a soft underfoot surface.

All-out glamour, drama and expensive tastes: if that sounds like you (even if your budget is actually small), then you’ll drool over this tiny, perfect, luxe bedroom from RSVP Design Services. What makes it work? The limited color scheme, the reflections from the mirrors and metallics, and the lack of clutter. Perfect.

Not sure how to make a small space multifunctional? City-dwellers Sarah Raskin and John Kerl turned their bonus room into a guest bedroom/baby nursery with some smart decorating ideas and storage solutions.

While pretty is important, practicality is also a must. White furniture can remain in the room through all stages of childhood. Bedding, accessories, and paint colors can easily be changed as tastes go from little girl to teen. The many storage options, such as built-in cabinets and nightstands, can readily go from holding dolls to fashion magazines and makeup.

Let’s face it, teenagers and orderly rooms are a rare combination. Messy rooms seem to be a teenager’s rite of passage. Good storage options will be the best feature they didn’t think they needed but will appreciate.

The first step in decorating any kind of bedroom, whether it is the bedroom, your child’s bedroom or an extra guest area is to check out the layout of the area. While it would certainly be wonderful everything bed rooms were sizable this is not always the case. Some rooms are bigger compared to others, some include blockages that need to be functioned around as well as some just have a strange design. Regardless of the layout; however, you could typically find a distinct method which to make the space so that it feels fresh and intriguing.

DIY Monogram Bulletin Board: Change a brown cork board into a custom Monogram Bulletin Board with just some paint and a little time! Perfect for a teen girl’s room! See the tutorial via landee see landee do.

I really like these rooms I’m trying to design my daughters room because we are moving soon and i think the book shelfs are a great idea to store small things and big things without taking up space so thanks!!!!!

These rooms are awesome! Really love the graffiti wall and blackboard wall; I think feature walls really make a room stand out. I have found some brilliant teen bedroom ideas recently, a great range to suit all budgets.

Enjoyed looking at the photos. Very inspiring. I like how you featured different colors – not just pink. I designed a fun tween retreat for the Spring Show in Charlotte that was packed with some fun ideas…(pardon me while i toot my own horn:-))

Prior to this tween girl’s bedroom redesign, the walls were covered in bright lilac paint, which gave it more of a little girl’s identity. In order to make it cool enough for a tween yet classic enough for parents, the space would be painted a dark shade of violet, the dated wall-to-wall carpet would be replaced with gray-toned vinyl plank flooring and the childish furniture would be swapped out for colorful vintage pieces.

I love everything about this bedroom. It’s simplicity and minimalistic approach is what’s really appealing.  Those white wooden floorboards are just totally divine and make the room so bright and airy. I just love a room that has white walls and flooring because it is the perfect backdrop for adding colourful accessories. For me it also gives a sense of tranquillity.  Let’s not forget to mention the hanging light bulb, such a beautiful and simple feature. What I am also lusting after is the clothes rail. Having your clothes out on show gives it a feminine touch to your room and feels very Carrie Bradshaw – just to need to make sure to be super tidy! Image credit

Here is a unique decoration idea for your room; place your desk and chair in front of a window and hang some colorful curtains around your little in-room getaway. Preferably, add some drawers and cabinets, so you can keep your things tucked away. You can use this corner to get over with your assignments and homework.

THANKS for all our sharp photos of moving your 2 girls from 1 shared bedroom to 2… meaning each has her OWN BEDROOM! Like you mentioned, painting walls, decorating & new bedding for both bedrooms later. I like the look of the white IKEA dresser, so clean & simple/modern. In addition the TROFAST system from IKEA is FAB! What I really like are the “wash me!” woven basket for laundry! THANKS FOR SHARING. I’m anxious to read & view photos of future posts of your 2 girls’ bedrooms … in the next year or so? Sarah Helene in Minneapolis

A girls bedroom furniture is an essential component of the design. You can choose from a wide variety of furniture pieces that are specifically created for little girls or search for pieces that can be used when she is a teenager and adult. For example, a dresser with an attached mirror will look attractive in your daughters when she is young but will become useful as she matures into an adolescent and starts wearing makeup. Similarly a trundle bed will last for many years in a small girls room and provide an extra place for your daughter’s friends to sleep when she has slumber parties. It is also perfect for a shared girls room because it can be tucked away during the day to free up space in the room. Other small room design ideas that will save space try searching for pretty white bunk beds or a lofted bed which you can put a desk or dresser underneath. When she is older she can even put a futon underneath for a fun place to hang out with her friends.

I have chosen this image because, as a Mum of 3-year-old boy and girl twins, this is such a great example of how to style a shared bedroom. Not only do the colours complement each other so well, but the room looks matched, even though it is for both sexes. The shelving is perfect for storing toys and books, and they can accessorize it with their own items. I am drawn to the simplicity of the design, and contemporary style especially as we now live in a modern new build home. My tips for styling a twins’ shared room is to keep it simple, use colour schemes that complement each other and involve the children in the process – as they usually like to have a say in what they prefer! In the event red is the favored coloring, you might wonder in the event that it has the place in your master bedroom wall space. The color can be intense and intense. It increases this heart rate and our blood pressure and lends a feeling of one’s. No additional coloring may seem to demonstrate this type of solid reaction psychologically in comparison with red, and several creative designers guide versus utilizing it about wall space. Making use of red for overall coloring might be difficult; it may move through cheery and thrilled to angry and aggressive. Even so, job the item, there are methods to add the item without having intending over the top.

I like interiors being minimalist, effortless and welcoming and this bedroom embodies all these things. I love the contrast of the matte black floorboards, the various hues of dark and light grey soft stonewashed linen to curl up in bed on a Sunday morning, the gorgeous atelier windows and the sheet of rusty metal casually lay against the wall and turned into a simple piece of art and a few of our favourite design books. A great combination of simple lines, textures and muted colours. Image credit

Create the illusion of a taller room by hanging curtains higher. Install rods close to the ceiling and hang long curtains that stretch all the way down to the floor. Helpful Hint: Make the windows look larger by hanging a rod that is much wider than the window. Then, arrange curtains so they cover just a small bit of the window frame and a large portion of the wall on either side. Photo courtesy of Layla Palmer.

I have always been very fond of vintage style – purely because of the character it brings to the room. What I love most about this room is first of all the white floor – very Scandinavian, the fireplace, the bed and last but not least; the floral bedding and curtains – adding life to the room. I can be here all day long, only thing that’s missing are French doors that open out to a cute balcony! Image credit

a ladder and slide in the room that goes up into a small bedroom decorating ideas for women step up, play room. This is a bedroom or playroom for little kids if you take the pink away it could be for boys and girls room. This is some brilliant designing! Love it perfect for a little girl

This pink little girl’s room idea is a thrill for a kid at any age. The soft pink wall color is age-neutral, and the ornate rug and tufted bed frame can grow up along with your little girl. A crystal chandelier adds sparkle and maturity to the space. For a girl’s bedroom idea for a small room, stick with a twin bed and narrow furniture with plenty of storage.

As tween girls become full-fledged teenagers, it’s likely they’ll be using their bedrooms for overnight fun with friends. Add drama and ambiance for nighttime use with vintage wall sconces. Often priced much lower than chandeliers, sconces are installed directly to walls and may need to be rewired prior to installation. To ensure safety, most interior designers recommend dropping off vintage sconces at local lamp repair shops where fixtures can be brought up to code for as little as $25.

Make the most of your small bedroom by using furniture to provide the storage that many undersized rooms lack. Case in point: this lovely, shabby chic bedroom substitutes a small dresser for a traditional nightstand, and makes the most of a recessed nook with a china cabinet to hold linens, sweaters, and other bulky items. That’s smart and beautiful.

These fashionable princesses are experimenting with some floral patterns in this online dress up and design game for girls. You can help them while they create a few cute outfits that are really flowery and choose some new hairstyles, too.

Personally I like a child’s room not to have a theme, instead adding decorative touches, so that they can grow with the room. I tend to always steer towards bright pastels and pattern for children, I think it brightens a room and makes them feel clean but cool at the same time. The photo shows a beautiful bedroom for a little girl. I love how it is totally neutral whilst colourful – this room could happily be for a girl or boy of any age. My top picks for a children’s room would always be second-hand furniture painted in beautiful colours, bright simple bed linen, key timeless decorative pieces that can be passed down, photos or artwork to reflect their personalities and loads of storage. decoración de dormitorio de los niños para las niñas sitio web de partido de adolescentes

On the hunt for ways to fill up your pegboard? Pick up a few BEKVÄM spice racks from IKEA and hang them on your real girl pictures tumblr Seriously though: A spice rack is the *perfect* place to store notebooks, pencil bags and more. (via Bondville)

Me ayudarias? Graciassss

¡No fallarás!

Te agradeceria me aconsejes. Gracias
