Looking to add a little preppy charm to your space? Start with one or two saturated colors like deep magenta and navy blue, then pull it all together with crisp white bordered bedding and accent pieces in a fun chevron print.
Keep her stylish space organized by adding simple wall shelves. Sisters sharing a room can be a recipe for squabbling. To keep the peace, go in with a game plan. If the girls are old enough to help with decor decisions, ask for their input. That way they’ll feel like they have a vested interest in the room. Also, designate an area for each girl’s stuff so both will feel like they have their own space. Another tip: Plan for the future. When baby outgrows the crib, be prepared to shift around furniture or consider adding girls bedroom girl on ned bunk bed or a trundle bed.

To complement your underlying palette, layer complementary colors and patterns on top of that. For example in a grey and white room, try accenting with yellow accessories. For patterns, lean towards stripes, chevron or solids with large geometric shape(s).
A little bit Midsummer Night’s Dream, a little bit folksy, this nature-inspired bedroom comes out quite high on the girly decorating scale, even with it’s blue-hued colour palette. A scattering of cushions embroidered with birds and butterflies brings a touch of whimsy, while a sheer lavender canopy draped over the bed keeps the look light and airy. Accessories in natural materials, such as the woven lampshade, cut through the blue to keep the space from becoming overwhelmingly dreamy!
I like interiors being minimalist, effortless and welcoming and this bedroom embodies all these things. I love the contrast of the matte black floorboards, the various hues of dark and light grey soft stonewashed linen to curl up in bed on a Sunday morning, the gorgeous atelier windows and the sheet of rusty metal casually lay against the wall and turned into a simple piece of art and a few of our favourite design books. A great combination of simple lines, textures and muted colours. Image credit
Bedrooms aren’t just for sleeping anymore. This hanging bubble chair provides a unique place to read and study, as well as the girls only ladder-accessible secret hideout. To keep this spacious bedroom from getting cluttered, designer Randy Weinstein added plenty of storage options, from the modern open bookshelf to the built-in closet organizer.
I DIE FOR THIS QUOTE! Will be doing this if my next little one is a girl! This is quite a spectacular room.for a small space! Any cool quote would work. (Nothing is Impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’– Audrey Hepburn)
I wanted this nursery to be a tranquil yet timeless space. The combination of subtle greys, soft pinks and white furniture is timeless and effortlessly stylish and ensures longevity. Taking inspiration from the vintage wallpaper tree art, I have accented this with brighter pinks and lime greens to punctuate the scheme and add freshness. The cotton curtains, have a playful embroidered band across the bottom featuring cats and birds, adding interest and fun to the scheme and contrasting well with the brighter pink linen blind. There is a useful mix of both open and closed storage. Contemporary pieces (such as the bunny nightlight and the grey acrylic storage stool) are mixed with vintage finds (including the wallpaper used for the tree and the antique children’s books) to create a unique room and one that complements the rest of the home. A sweet sanctuary.
This blend of pink and purple is perfect for little girl’s bedroom colors that will grow with the child. Give the feminine shades a unique twist with thoughtful application. Pair it with soft neutrals and hints of periwinkle for a classic-meets-glam vibe. This room’s lavender walls, window treatments, and throw pillows work well for a teen, and later on it can suit a guest room. The classic furniture pieces suit either purpose, and simple switches can introduce more subdued accent colors.
So glad you liked all the pictures! I love the laundry hamper as well. I think it is so cute. I think some day she may night like it because there isn’t any cover, but I bet I could create something. 😉 Yes, I will get to their rooms, hopefully in the next 12 months. I’m saving up now. Thanks so much for leaving your sweet comment! ♥

I’m guessing it’s just that much more fun for their parents to come up with creative bedroom decorative ideas for their twins. And it would especially take a creative chunk out of them if they are having twin girls. Believe me decorating girls bedroom can just be that much fun as much as it can be difficult and exhausting. So let us take a quite applauding moment for parents who have come up with great girl bedroom ideas and inspired many like them to push the decorative edge within them just that much further.
A sleigh bed, for example, is a preferred conventional style of bed that can be conveniently combined with deluxe bed linens to produce a conventional, classic look in your bedroom. Of course, if you desire an extra modern look you could take into consideration the very same sleigh bed including modern lines and integrated with solid shades, stripes or geometric patterns.
From the soft pink walls to the floral bedding to the girl’s bedroom wall decor, this bedroom embodies everything feminine. The simple look of the tufted bed complements the antique bedside table. Cozy floral fabrics and billowy window treatments look airy and soft with the natural light pouring into the room. Create contrast in this all-pink room with girl’s bedroom accessories, such as this ornate blue rug. The color grounds the room while the intricate details connect to the delicate decor.

Your first impulse might be to think of the sloped ceiling and cramped space of an attic bedroom as a minus, but instead, embrace it as a plus. When the bed is piled high with quilts, pillows, and shams, and surrounded by simple, yet lovely furnishings as in the adorable country bedroom shown here, the sloped ceiling and limited square footage simply add to the cozy vibe.
For a designer-worthy look, choose a simple color palette of three to four neutral hues and a single, bright accent color like the eye-catching pink in this chic bedroom. Add interest with a variety of bold, trendy patterns and cozy textures like cotton, faux fur, knits, etc.
Pretty pink curtains and a pink-painted bed is set against a backdrop of white panelled walls for a cosy country feel. A peg rail makes a sweet display for toys, as well as providing practical storage for bags.
Decorating a small bedroom can get extra tricky with odd nooks and corners. Use light, crisp colors to combat unique features like lower ceilings. Bright whites look luxe in any sized room, and even turn this slanted-ceiling kids’ room into a spacious play zone.

Every princess needs her castle, and this pastel rainbow creation is a perfect example of how to properly install one in the bedroom. There is everything here – towers with cones at the top, sentry stations, and even a balcony, all of which help bring the fantasy to life. source.
The dream bedroom for teens, back comforter with large pink flowers on it and gold stars on the wall. Where did that comforter and sham set come from?? M daughter loves it and I cannot seem to find anything similar. Beautiful room!
Use as a feature wall – Black has long been a favoured shade in teenage bedrooms, but these days it’s cropping up just on feature walls, rather than covering floor to ceiling. In a narrow space like this room, it adds depth and draws the eye towards the furniture, rather than the window, which helps the room to feel less corridor-like.
personally i think they should be more realistic about the room sizes most kids dont have a room the size of these. and i personally dont like have of these rooms they look to grown up or kinda kidish.
When decorating a tween girl’s room, don’t be afraid to pack it with pattern. Introduce different prints by layering patterns similar in color yet different in scale. An excellent rule of thumb is to stick with one large-, one medium- and one small-scale pattern. This will ensure the layered look appears balanced rather than busy.
