white and blue bedroom for teen girls decorating tween rooms

I love so much about this baby/toddler room interior. The bunting across the blind really sets a tone for the room and I love the lights hanging off of the ladder, they add a touch of warmth and cosiness to the room – which is exactly how every baby or child’s room should feel. I love that the floors and walls are bright. There’s a blue, white and grey theme which is fantastic because it suits a young baby as well as being grown up enough for a toddler. We’re re-doing our boys’ rooms this year and this image among others is where we’re taking inspiration from. I plan to use a light laminate floor like here and opt for light walls too, contrasting it by using colourful accessories. I think that when it comes to children’s interiors it’s fine to want to go modern, but it’s important to make sure that the room both reflects your child’s personality and is fun and young at the same time. For a much more one-of-a-kind and contemporary look, consider a bed with blended products. Blended timber as well as metal headboards in a range of designs are presently quite prominent. These types of beds look fantastic with strong bed linens in addition to geometric patterns. Wood beds can quickly offer a typical appearance or an extra modern look relying on the style and also the accents and bed linen that are used combined with them.

If you’ve spent time and money carefully creating two-tone paint effects like this, and refurnishing a kids bedroom, you’re probably not going to be that keen for your teen daughter to pin posters directly on the wall… not that we’re being design control freaks or anything. Try fixing picture ledges at staggered heights on the wall above the bed and layering up framed prints and photos of your teen’s choice for a personal and art display. The images – and therefore the space – can be updated as frequently as she wants.

An entire room filled with bright color is too much intensity for a tiny space, but when you use a few hot shots of eye-catching color to heat up neutrals or classic black-and-white, the temperature is just right.

Speaking of…under the bed storage such as rollaway drawers is always helpful in creating more space and can hold seasonal or limited use items. Storage chests with cushions can be used as a seat to a play table as well as conceal a mountain of toys. A wall unit with drawers can pull double duty as a dresser and desk.

It is always recommended to select simple and elegant teen bedroom furniture instead of spending lots of money on them. Select a simple bed (or bunk bed) and club it with a functional desk, wardrobe, and drawer. If there is ample of free space in the room, you may consider creating a casual seating space. Low lying chairs or sofa featuring colorful cushions with a small coffee table would do the needful.

The bedroom is the perfect place at home for relaxation and rejuvenation.
