Snowflake wants a pink, white and blue theme with snowflakes in her room. She wants me to design something neat for over her desk. I think she needs new more mature bedding as well. New curtains will likely go along with the completion of her room.

hi i am a 13 year old girl and i would just like to say that although i found loads of gr8 rooms i think that the room sizes are a bit big considering that i and all of my friends have very small bed rooms.

the rooms look great, can’t wait to see them all finished. Good for inspiration for my daughters room, we moved house about 3 months ago and her room is still very much a work in progress. We have the wallpaper and all the furniture, just need to get busy with the actual decoration. You have really maximized the space in the wardrobe, I may just have to steal that idea for miss 8’s room, thanks for sharing.

Designer and HGTV Star Tiffany Brooks mixed bright floral prints with a plaid headboard and fuchsia accessories to achieve a fun yet sophisticated look in this stylish space. A large potted Fiddle Leaf Fig tree adds organic warmth and interest to the cozy bedside seating area.

The first step in decorating any kind of bedroom, whether it is the bedroom, your child’s bedroom or an extra guest area is to check out the layout of the area. While it would certainly be wonderful everything bed rooms were sizable this is not always the case. Some rooms are bigger compared to others, some include blockages that need to be functioned around as well as some just have a strange design. Regardless of the layout; however, you could typically find a distinct method which to make the space so that it feels fresh and intriguing.

I love the cool, calm feeling of interior stylist Pella Hedeby’s bedroom, with its abundance of natural light, crisp white linens and beautiful monochrome accents. The cladding on the wall behind the end offers the perfect framed display units for artwork and scented candles, and I always love a low console table at the foot of the bed for displaying coffee table books and keeping rows of footwear organised. Weathered shutters add a touch of shabby chic flair to this cozy gray and white bedroom from Décor Gold Designs. It’s easy to work a vintage vibe into even a small bedroom – use an antique chest as a nightstand or footboard, set an old door in place of a headboard, or adorn your walls with framed vintage embroidered handkerchiefs, maps or botanical designs.

Far from stark and uninspiring, stripped back wooden floors and plain white walls are the epitome of classic Scandinavian interior design. A personal favourite of mine, there is nothing more relaxing than natural light, contrasting textures and a hint of colour popping through in features such as the statement mint wood burner found in this Scandinavian haven. Simple changes make this interior’s style easy to achieve – think fur throws thrown over white bedding, painted floors with warmth added through sheepskin rugs, a series of monochrome finishes including framed typography prints and industrial elements such as this oversized light juxtaposed with untouched wood finishes found throughout. Thanks to a bold color scheme of violet, black, white and gold, this designer-caliber tween girl’s room is as appealing to the tween herself as it is to her young parents. From the royal palette to the vintage pieces and fashion-inspired fabrics, everything in the room can transition well as the tween girl becomes a full-fledged teenager. To invest wisely with tween room updates, emphasize color and pattern instead of themes.
