Make tidying up more fun with pretty fabric storage boxes slotted into a white-painted unit. A large scale wall sticker picks up on the colours of the boxes to turn the storage area into a focal point.
Colourful and quirky, everything in this room – from the red squiggle wallpaper to the animal print textiles, owl rug and paper hanging mobile – is fun, which is just what a little girl’s room should be.
A painted headboard by Paola Cumiskey adds elegance to the main bedroom of this Norfolk village house belonging to Alan and Sarah Wilson. The house was designed by George Carter (who is known primarily for his award-winning gardens).
Sugar and spice and all things nice, that’s what little girls are made of… So a cacophony of florals, butterflies and birds really works. Particularly when more traditional prints, like the wallpaper here, are combined with more modern ones.
all these rooms are SUPER cool. Awesome creativity! But next time, it’d be great if maybe you guys could design a room thats, well, more affordable looking/ realistic. I mean, c’mon, we’re teenagers who dont really have THAT much extra cash on hand to use on hand haha. And maybe ‘simpler’ room sizes. The loft one is super cool, but its not like everyone has a loft in their room. . . . awesome ideas though!
Sometimes, words of encouragement are exactly what you need to start the day smiling. Hang our wall art lettering up and remind yourself to stay happy as you shine through your day. Bling it up with flashy glitter letters in sayings like peace, or it down a notch and just hang your name on the back of your bedroom door. Some options, like our heart-shaped cabinet, provide functionality too.
The reason I love this bedroom is due to its refined elegance. The simple colour palette makes for a wonderfully calming master bedroom. The classic Ralph Lauren pinstripe walls serve as the perfect backdrop for the stunning navy upholstered bed, with its many layers of cushions and throws creating a hotel-like feel. From the beautiful symmetry presented through every aspect of this room, to the many sumptuous textures, this bedroom reflects the perfect marriage of classic style with distinctive contemporary touches.
