Soft colors and classic style will keep this girl’s room timeless for years to come. Neutral walls and furniture create a sense of unity and allow patterned bedding and window treatments to be the center of attention. A pattern that isn’t too age-specific allows for her creativity to shine in wall art and painting hung around the room. Lighting treatments are similar with neutral bases and lampshades that can easily be switched out at a low cost. 

I love the fact that my bedroom is a comfy nook tucked under a pitched roof. To highlight the cosiness I have painted the pitched roof in a dark anthracite, that is ‘Down Pipe’ from Farrow & Ball. The atmosphere is meant to be calming and soothing. The overall colour scheme is moody with various hues of blue and grey. For that dash of boho style I’ve opted for a few houseplants around my bed and West African vintage indigo throw with a traditional pattern. so im a 17 year old teenage girl and only the last room looks remotly livable in. no personal aspects to any of them just random decorative ornaments like numbers (i spotted a 10 and a 5). and as a teenage girl i do not have a buget to build custom long closet all around my room, nor do i have a balcony.

I love the way this black and gold room turned out. The best thing about this room was it was very affordable to decorate, as most of the decorations are from Gordmans, Hobby Lobby and the At Home Store and the bedding is from Target.

    A pink floral bedroom makes an elegant scheme in this neoclassical pavilion Bradwell Lodge. It is aptly named the ‘Pink Room’. A bold Bernard Thorp ‘Brimble’ fabric has been used on the walls, bed and blind, adding character and playfulness. The curtain over the bed adds height, and gives the room a cosy den-like feel. Designed as a guest room, we think the ideas could easily be transferred to a child’s bedroom.
