This will make the bed the focal point of the area, which can be helpful if you have an intriguing headboard. Now this pillow isn’t nearly quite as simple. In fact, it is probably a lot of work to make and either glue or sew all these pink ruffles. It makes for a gorgeously detailed decorative throw pillow though. thegirlinspired.

A girls bedroom furniture is an essential component of the design. You can choose from a wide variety of furniture pieces that are specifically created for little girls or search for pieces that can be used when she is a teenager and adult. For example, a dresser with an attached mirror will look attractive in your daughters when she is young but will become useful as she matures into an adolescent and starts wearing makeup. It is also perfect for a shared girls room because it can be tucked away during the day to free up space in the room. Other small room design ideas that will save space try searching for pretty white bunk beds or a lofted bed which you can put a desk or dresser underneath. When she is older she can even put a futon underneath for a fun place to hang out with her friends.

I all honesty, I don’t see how this is supposed to help make the most out of a small room. First of all, they just look like normal bedrooms. And anyay, I guess it’s not what I googled for. The reason I was looking for a post on how to maximize on small room space is because right now my bedroom is also my living room is also my office. I live in NY and I am SURE I am not the only person with this sort of living arrangement. Real estate costs. And quite frankly we are paying for every cubic inch of space in a room here in the city, meaning loft beds and over head storage and really anything and everything to maximize on space and provide order to a multi-purpose room. I don’t need to make my small space LOOK bigger. For what? I need it to feel functionally bigger, since I can’t actually have it bigger.

Although your bedroom color scheme is often a personal opinion, there are some paint colors that are more relaxing and better suited for your sleeping area. Studies have found that people with blue girls red bedroom slippers often get more sleep because of the calmness it elicits. Brighter colors may lead to a better mood, but they also might keep you up longer at night. If you have a significant other with opposing tastes, consider master bedroom colors falling within the neutral range — such as variations of green, gray or brown — to keep everyone happy. Sharing many bedroom pictures that you’ve saved to your ideabook can be a great way to help your significant other get a sense of your bedroom remodeling ideas.

To me, there is nothing better than being able to create a sense of nature inside, connecting the two worlds. Natural fabrics such as linen, matched with cotton and wool knitted throws to create a casual yet cosy atmosphere is perfect for these chilly nights. The wooden headboard creates such a sense of grounding and security, ideal for those of us who need a sanctuary after a long day, but with the use of lighting it softens the overall look. Image credit

When I was still living with my parents after college, they added on to the house and again my brother got first choice but because he drug his feet, I got the space by default. I was all moved in in a day. lol I’m sure your girls will love their spaces and truly make it their own.

If you are going to opt for minimalism in only one room in your house, that room should be the bedroom.  No distractions for relaxation and a perfect nights sleep.  Although this white bedroom scheme is definitely minimalist, I like the fact it has warmth due to the herringbone floor and interest added with the contemporary four poster.  The simple bedding looks luxurious too and I would be more than happy to take a nap between those sheets. Image credit
