Kit Kemp designed this bedroom for Wool House, a Campaign for Wool exhibition at Somerset house in London. Be inspired similarly by pairing wool items with crisp cottons and shining fabrics like the lamp shade.

Thanks for sharing these wonderful ideas to decorate our bedroom with amazing designed furniture. sometimes we have attractive furniture but not that ideas that how can we decorate our room. your ideas are really very useful in such type of situations.

FURNITURE Nineteenth-century Swedish pine bench, 45 x 145 x 30cm, £550, from Puckhaber. Bedside table covered in ‘Felix’ (natural), linen, £100 a metre, from George Spencer Designs; trimmed with ‘Hula’ (lava black), by Mary McDonald for Schumacher, linen, 20cm wide, £159.40 a metre, from Turnell & Gigon. Oak and rush bed, ‘Camargue’ (blackened oak), 226 x 169 x 221cm, £9,450, from Ralph Lauren Home. Lacquered cotton-rope ‘Moiste Chair’, by Christian Astuguevieille, 110 x 40 x 45cm, £4,250, fromHolly Hunt.

Just because your space is small does not mean your pieces can’t be large. Use a monochromatic color scheme because it creates an illusion for the eyes. Choose one color family and select variations of it for the largest parts of your rooms. Natural light will also be your friend. Use sheer window treatments or leave them off entirely. Consider furnishings that have multiple purposes. And always, create a space you love!

Today’s teenagers are design-conscious and up to date on the latest trends. But they’re torn between childhood and adulthood. Most teens have beloved toys they’re not ready to give up, but look for a room that’s older and more sophisticated than their childhood room.

Nurture the art lover in your teen by decorating their bedroom walls with prints they’ve picked. If their room is already a technicolour dream, pick a portrait that incorporates as many of the colours as possible to tie the room together.

Don’t be afraid to go a little OTT with a theme. Our top tip? Find brands that do them with panache – like this vroom-vroom room from Vertbaudet (pictured), or a cute car motif wallpaper from Marimekko. Talk about a dream machine.

Pair antique furniture with an eclectic assortment of glassware and fabrics in aqua and jewel tones to create a scheme that piques the imagination. Eighteenth-century bed, £4,500, at Alex MacArthur. Fifties lacquered dressing commode (aqua), £4,600, at Talisman.

Sharing a room as a teenager can be tough, but it doesn’t have to be ugly! In this pretty space, designer Kristina Crestin dressed two full-sized beds in matching white ruffled bedding and plush fur throws, hanging each girl’s monogram above her bed for personalization. A shared midcentury modern dresser doubles as a nightstand and is a cool contrast to feminine pink ruffled curtains.

Choosing the right rug for a tween space can be tough since their tastes change so frequently. While light-colored solid rugs are prone to showing spills, stains or dirt, textured solids are great for hiding imperfections. This black, white and gray wool rug helps tie the black and white accents of the color scheme together while also offering a soft underfoot surface.

All the furniture in this bedroom at Soho Farmhouse is wooden, including the panelling of the sink in the ensuite glimpsed through the doorway. This was designed to capture the Upstate New York cabin feeling.

ACCESSORIES Fifties abaca-rope table lamp, by Audoux-Minet, £3,200, from Rose Uniacke. Linen bedlinen, ‘Selena’: king-size flat sheet (ciment), £204; pillowcases (ciment), £51 each; and king-size duvet cover (cèdre), £315; all fromCaravane. Embroidered linen cushion covers, from left: ‘Neptune’ and ‘David’, £85 each; stitched cotton quilt, ‘Eeji Beeji’ (white/indigo), £450; stoneware mug, ‘Everyday’ (black), by Emma Lacey, £27; aluminium and fabric wireless speaker, ‘Copenhagen’, by Vifa, £549; all from The Conran Shop.

The soft setting of this room, with classic period features like cornicing and the palest grey colour scheme, is given a touch of the exotic with a carved wooden bed and Eastern-inspired printed and textured textiles.

This bedroom is striking to me. It surprises you…such a delicate balance of masculine and feminine. You can’t help but to appreciate the subtle design elements reflected within the context of this modern Asian-inspired scale and colour scheme ~ the mysteriousness of the asymmetrical bookcase, the delicateness in how the objects are placed, and the luxurious feel the dark-on-light furniture gives. I get a sense of warmth but refreshed at the same time. Finally, artwork chosen seals the sentiment of this overall design composition. Simply put, I love it. Image credit

A peppy palette of pinks and yellow-base greens is playful, but it also transitions from a toddler room idea to teen decor. The mix of patterns knows no age barrier and provides plenty of other color options for makeovers later on. For example, the soft sage or fuchsia in the bedding could easily translate into a wall color, and the room would still sport a cohesive design.

This beautiful soft industrial bedroom featured on the cover of the launch issue of Warehouse Home – and it’s been proving very popular! The original features of a warehouse conversion, such as exposed brickwork, can often feel ‘hard’ and ‘masculine’. Old and new steel furniture is especially striking in such spaces but can also feel cold. When styling the Warehouse Home bedroom (above), we wanted to prove that industrial chic can have a soft side. A bespoke galvanised steel pipe bed, designed exclusively for Warehouse Home by Inspirit Deco, was the focal point of our warehouse bedroom. And beside it, a vintage industrial bedside cabinet. We then used a ‘masculine and feminine’ palette of greys and blush pinks and a variety of textured fabrics (linen, tweed, velvet), to bring warmth to our bedroom and soften the industrial look. Select vintage accessories complemented the warehouse conversion’s heritage features, while flowers and decorative vintage glassware further enhanced the “femininity” of the space. Image credit

But you can create a dedicated dressing area in a small bedroom, too. Use a decorative dressing screen to separate off one corner of the room, keeping a clothes rail behind it, as well as your dressing table if space allows.

OK so im 14 and i hav 2 share a really small room with my 11 and 16 year old sisters. We definitely cant afford any of this stuff and it wouldnt fit anyway. i think maybe you should put cheap but cute ides out there instead of all this rich kid stuff.

Sofia Barattieri di San Pietro of upmarket fashion website Motilo and interior designer Paolo Moschino worked together to achieve the art-deco feel of Sofia’s Kensington apartment. In the spare room, the bedside table, lamp and wall lights are all from Nicholas Haslam – while fresh flowers are a recurring theme, her main bedroom also features bedside blooms.

For Richard Hanlon, the plan to buy a holiday home in India with his friend Trish McFarlane led to the ambitious construction of Bujera Fort, now a spectacular palace hotel in Udaipur. Arriving today, up the rutted track that leads out of Bujera village, it is difficult to believe that this beautiful building, its outer walls frothing with white bougainvillea, was only recently finished. A bedroom is decorated with traditional Indian furniture combined with English fabrics such as the floral chintz on the headboard.

In the main bedroom of a large Chelsea flat designed by Sophie Ashby, silk ‘Madison’ wallpaper from Stereo provides a bold background to the set of nude studies from Lorfords Antiques. Complementing the earthy palette of this large space, smart rosewood cabinets flank the bed. ‘It drives me crazy that so often in newbuilds everything is built-in, so I wanted something free-standing and moveable,’ explains Sophie.

I stayed at the Ludlow Hotel in New York’s Lower East Side last October and I instantly fell in love with my room. The stark black four-poster bed was the perfect contrast to whitewashed walls and beams. The industrial black window frames were dressed with heavy patterned pleated silk shades. The massive brass pendant lamp, patterned flat-weave rug, sheepskin throws and deeply veined marble coffee tables accented the decor perfectly. And the view of downtown Manhattan was of course unbeatable. Image credit

Guys, in case you aren’t aware there are materials to paint a room that are not expensive..especially if you do it yourself. Also you can design a room based on someone else’s design. Your room doesn’t have to look EXACTLY like the designer’s. And, of course, you have to adjust a design to the size and shape of your room. Just putting that out there because there’s a very small chance that you will find a design that if made FOR you and your room..

‘Stark interiors, where pieces of furniture are isolated with nothing to soften them, don’t look inviting,’ says Stephan Eicker, who transformed this Victorian terrace house in Chelsea into a warm, inviting family home. In this bedroom he mixed black furniture with the owner’s artwork collection, subtly mirroring the rich shades with layers of vibrant fabrics.

Define each area with a clear purpose, so that every inch of space works hard. Here, a desk doubles up as a dressing table with built-in drawers and three pretty mirrors. This clever trundle bed is perfect for weekend sleepovers!

Wow, interesting article. Maybe, this is of interest, I recently hired Furnishr to design my living room. I know, I could have designed my room by myself, but I actually liked the designs on their site. Pretty great service. They designed, delivered, and setup my new living room furniture and decor in less than a week. Check them out if you’re interested, http://www.furnishr.com/

The rustic trend – bare brick walls, exposed lightbulbs and distressed finishes – started in restaurants. Want to get the look at home? Use a variety of textures along with a vibrant accent colour such as red or turquoise.

If you prefer your bedroom to appear posh, select this color combination. This bedroom is about its selection of drapes and fabrics. It has interesting combination of finishes. This master bedroom was created by Ginger Barber. 3 bedrooms are on …

Although carpet is usually the most popular flooring choice for bedrooms, it’s hard to keep clean in high-traffic rooms. Rather than going through the motions of having carpet professionally cleaned yearly, it may be a better investment to simply replace wall-to-wall carpet with resilient vinyl plank flooring. Averaging less than $1.50 per square foot, vinyl plank is easy to install by cutting to size with a utility knife, then staggering each plank to create a pattern. As opposed to carpet, which stains easily, vinyl can simply be wiped clean with a sponge.

Soft coral and brown? It may be out of imagination, but it turns out so beautiful and girly. Love the patterned wall art above the bed, the black and white lampshade, the “DREAM” decorative letters on the side storage dresser…Who doesn’t want a bedroom like this as a teenage girl? via House of Rose Blog.

I love every ideas you have shared over here. The style and design were so perfect and very inspiring. I am so happy I stumbled on your blog because you inspire me a lot. I can apply ideas I learned on my next  home decorating ideas project. Thank you for sharing this wonderful post.

A lime green and blue colour scheme and a collection of characters, including a line up of sweet stuffed toys and a friendly whale rug, bring this room to life. This corner provides a perfect play spot with some smart storage boxes for kids to dig in and out of.

Tweens are notorious for being a fan of one thing one week to totally flipping and loving something else the next. Shelving and under-bed storage leave room for them to store things until they’re cool again.

As much as possible, owner Anne-Marie tried to match the wall colours to those that her grandmother had used, keeping the bedrooms the same subtle colours, but adding ‘ribbons’ of colour to outline the architecture and ‘dress the room’.

Have a small space? This kids’ room designed by Mercier packs a lot of punch. Housed in a petite family home (a former artist’s studio in Chelsea), this multi-purpose room includes a loft bed, two wall-mounted benches that transform into beds (bed-linen is concealed below), and a third, drawer bed (pictured here) which slides out when needed.

To vary solid-color walls, try this easy, do-it-yourself project. Mark out different sizes of squares on the wall with painter’s tape. Then fill in the shapes with three to four different colors. Here, bold raspberry, tangy orange, and sweet pink squares spruce up a peach background.

Juggling the demands of a growing family and an interior-design business, Nicole Salvesen updated her south London house to increase the feeling of space with bright colours and more streamlined rooms. Bed quilts from Molly Mahon add colour in Nicole’s daughters’ bedroom.

I agree with Sarah Akwisombe’s statement. I too, enjoy having a room in dark colours because it’s super inviting and makes me want to sleep and relax. However, I am not a fan of brown colour on anything else than wood. I see that most of the pictures here portray white bedrooms… the least appropriate colour for a bedroom in my opinion.

Interior designer Virginia Howard had no intention of moving from Knightsbridge to Pimlico, until a balcony flat in a nineteenth-century garden square changed her mind. The bedroom is decorated in a pale green colour scheme. The elegant, Grade II-listed stucco building overlooks the garden square in central London, bringing the outside in. Two meagre bedrooms were knocked into one generous one, filled with light from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

With the distressed wood of the floor and walls, this room needs little else to give it character and warmth. Netural tones, natural textures and a touch of colour from a pretty patterned bed spread are a subtle but welcome addition.

Gray’s sedate vibe makes it especially good for the bedroom. But when decorating with gray, be sure to add plenty of interest to keep the look lovely, not grim. Take a few tips from the gorgeous room from Jean Stephane Beauchamp Design shown here; a strong area rug, an intriguing ceiling fixture, a luxurious velvet upholstered headboard, and a touch of fun in the skull-adorned throw pillow guarantee that this entirely-gray-and-white master bedroom is anything but boring.

A feature panel behind a bed always looks great, whether it’s a contrasting paint colour, a wallpaper or a picture wall. These shimmering mosaic tiles fit perfectly with the girly, vintage inspired scheme.

The attic bedroom in printmaker Cameron Short’s restored Georgian house has an austere beauty to it. The whitewashed walls are dissected by exposed beams and the battered wooden floorboards are left uncovered. A wide gauge gingham bedspread adds a touch of country charm.

I love the way this black and gold room turned out. The best thing about this room was it was very affordable to decorate, as most of the decorations are from Gordmans, Hobby Lobby and the At Home Store and the bedding is from Target.

Welcome to Girl Games, the largest free game site made just for girl gamers! This is the place to play free Makeover games in popular categories such as Fantasy Games, Food Decoration Games, Hair Games, Make Up Games, Nail Games, Outdoor Decoration Games, Room Decoration Games, Christmas Games, and much more!

This traditionally designed bedroom features an antique four-poster bed with red bedding and matching curtains. The scheme also includes dark antique furniture, including an elegant console table used as a bedside table.

The bedroom should be one of the most comfortable and relaxing rooms in your home. That’s why I prefer a warm, soothing colour palette that helps you to unwind after a long day. I feel that gold accents and luxurious textiles such as velvet and silk complement warmer tones very well and give it a high-end look without compromising the comfort. I like the rest of the decor quite minimalist though so the room doesn’t look too busy. Simple and chic is the way to go! Image credit

Banqueta de Osborne & Little.

A Fifties, brass wall sconce hangs above one of two vintage Scandinavian rosewood chests from Sigmar in this bedroom – the prize find of the project, according to the rooms designer Suzy Hoodless. ‘I slightly wish that I’d kept those for myself,’ she says wistfully. Charcoal coloured walls are combined with a lush velvet headboard in navy blue – one of our favourite bedrooms ideas.

A rainbow of bright hues shines through this room and touches everything from pillows to walls. When using a strong palette of colors, repeat a particular element to create a sharp look. In this room, circles take the leading role, appearing on bedding, walls, the rug, and artwork. Also use a neutral color, such as white, for furniture, to soften bold colors.

I would describe this bedroom as ‘cosy contemporary’ and it’s the sort of space I could relax in at the end of a busy day.  It is fairly minimalist, but not as stark as a white or grey bedroom, with an on trend geo pattern and a soft colour palette, with some warmth from the brass lamp and wooden side table.  I also love the white painted floor boards and think it is a look that could be quite easy to re-create. Image credit

No matter what piques your daughter’s interest, she probably needs plenty of storage for her treasures. Take a cue from the kitchen for organization.

Famed for her work on Firmdale Hotels, Kit Kemp’s own home is unsurprisingly full of her trademark mix of pattern. The fabric used for the bedhead and cushions in the bedroom are by Christine Van Der Hurd.

Can this possibly be the perfect bedroom? Let’s talk about the colour. This bedroom has the ever so popular grey wall. It’s modernised by adding a touch of yet another grey that has the slightest hint of a muted lavender. It’s pleasing to both men and women because this colour palette falls right smack in the middle of the appeal for both sexes. The black adds a nice masculinity and grounding to the room shown in the strong stripe of the area rug and gorgeous texture in the frames. The hard lines of the end tables are softened by soft white fabrics and an undulated headboard which add femininity to this space. This bedroom belongs to Vanessa and James Macdonald’s son, Rupert, at their family home in the rolling hills of Oxfordshire. The red gingham of the headboard and armchair compliments the patterned red and white curtains. When it comes to children’s decor, my eye is always drawn to white, airy rooms with playful details to add warmth and colour. Jenson’s gender neutral nursery is a perfect example of this, with his sweet ladybug bedding and special wooden toys out on display. There’s space to let him play unrestricted, with stylish storage boxes to tidy away any clutter afterwards. It’s also a room that can easily grow with him for years to come. Whilst monochrome is the trend of the moment, it can be surprisingly tricky to get right. The key is to find a balance and you can do this by adding in more soft tones and textures such as wooden accents, a fun wallpaper or contrasting prints. Not only does it make the space more interesting, but it doesn’t restrict you to one overly coordinated look. Bright pops of colour are a simple, stylish choice for a kids’ room and works well against plain white walls. Make it modern by using accent colours not just on cushions, but beds, furniture and even the window shutters.

An architecturally significant building from the Fifties by Victor Gruen (the architect who invented the shopping mall), the owners wanted to retain the period character by filling it with classic mid-century pieces. ‘These houses are often furnished with Eames and Mies ven der Rohe, which is just too obvious. While the house, and the furniture I have used in it are historical, I never want the space to feel like a museum,’ he says. ‘I want to stay true to the period, but reframe it for today; the mood now is fresher, softer, more subtle and subdued.’

Everyone wants a bedroom that feels like an escape from their busy lives, but sometimes it can be hard to strike the balance between indulgence and function. We hope these master bedroom ideas can help you achieve the perfect middle ground. Feel free to use our suggestions as the jumping-off point to designing your new favorite room in the house.

• In your girl’s bedroom , you have to choose your girls favorite bedroom decorating ideas and themes , some girls like evening themes as the moon , so you need to use (blues, whites and yellows) , other like day themes as the sun, and others may prefer a seashore theme, so you need to use the sea shore elements as (a sandy brown carpet for the floor, a blue colored bed sheet for the bed and white pillows).if your girl like the summer time season, so you need to have some yellow shade to the overall theme , and then decorating with seashore parts comparable to starfish, angel fish and clown fish, these themes will revive your girl’s bedroom decorating ideas.

As you may know, I don’t have a daughter. I’m expecting my fourth little boy and I could not be more excited. The only downside to that is I would LOVE to decorate a girl’s room! I have a pretty girly craft room but for now I’ll live vicariously through these amazing ladies’ design skills! I am obsessed with each and every one of these adorable girls room ideas. I hope you find some inspiration if you’re looking to redecorate your girl’s room or if your little one is ready for her first “Big girl” room! Oh my gosh, so fun!

I’m a 14 year old girl, and I am re-doing my small bedroom. None of these (with the exception of the first one) are realistic or what I’m looking for. I hate the unoriginality of the modern rooms and the pompous air in the others.

Rustic style bedrooms: Rustic style bedrooms are all about solid wood, which can be used with bed frames, timber walls, flooring and even ceilings. Rustic bedroom décor combines well with minimalist designs. White walls, black and white furniture and green accents, large wall hangings and accessories, combine perfectly with hardwood flooring, for medium to large sized bedrooms.

These are some some incredibly creative ideas! I love how these designs make the most of small spaces. Another option is to purchase furniture with multiple purposes. A great choice is a Zoom-Room or Zoom-Desk. Zoom-Room is a 21st century version of the Murphy Bed. It’s a remote controlled retractable Wall Bed that snakes up behind the cabinet instead of folding down, so you can put your flat screen TV or bookshelves in front. The Zoom-Room is customizeable with custom cabinets, home office accessories, finishes, and materials. It combines both function and great design.

When it comes to bedroom decorating ideas, your options are endless. When nailing down your bedroom design, it’s helpful to start by tackling the more permanent things, like furniture. Artwork and photographs that put you at ease are a great addition (although some advise against having family photos around, as they can hinder that “sexy bedroom” vibe), and mirrors are a must-have if you use the space for dressing. When considering bedroom ideas, bedding is always important — your duvet and decorative pillows should play nicely with the paint color and bedroom wall decor, but can also be swapped out easily, which makes it easy to incorporate an interesting print or texture. Lastly, add some accessories to style your nightstand or dresser; just be careful not to go overboard — too many knickknacks can make your room feel cluttered and disorganized, which can actually cause sleep trouble. If you keep these bedroom decorating ideas and color considerations in mind you should be well on your way to creating the perfect bedroom design.

If your bedroom is on the smaller side, how you arrange the furniture in it can make all the difference in the overall feel of the room. But before you start sliding furniture across the floor, consider these five tips for arranging a small bedroom and reveal the beautiful design potential of your space!

there are really nice bedrooms that you have put on this website but you have to make it look more real for it to happen in a modern day bedroom like my favourite room is the one with the blue comfeter but thanks for putting these on there for me to make it look like my room well i have to go now byye!!

I have a thing for fairytales and so I always seek for that ‘happily ever after’ look in my home. With its tactile textures, warming beige tones and flowing covers, this bedroom is the epitome of a bed that’s fit for a princess and her prince – or me and my fiancé. It’s clear that the main focus of the room is the bed itself and so, as I believe that you can never have enough scatter cushions either, this scene truly is my ideal bedroom.

Add some sparkle to a princess-themed room with a starry wallpapered ceiling. This room’s blue ceiling, as well as small pops of powder blues, lavender, and bright coral, breaks up a mostly pink color scheme. Statement light fixtures above the bed give extra glamour that can carry into teenage years.

Every girl, regardless of her age, loves grooming herself. Girls love taking care of themselves in all aspects; appearance, health, and even they take care of their own stuff, keeping them neat and always clean. In order for a girl to do all of those things, she needs her very own little world where she can be herself, detaching herself from everyday’s hectic responsibilities, and finding a place where she can work on beautifying herself. Girls usually find this kind of privacy in their own rooms, and since a lot of girls are a bit picky and neat when it comes to their stuff, they probably need a room that pretty much match their personalities. If you are one of those girls, we brought to you a list of decoration ideas that you might like using in your bedroom. Check them out.

For a touch of magic in everyday life, look no further than fairy lights. Twined through sheer drapes, the tiny twinkling bulbs give a room an ethereal feel that’s sure to delight. The delicate glow can help to brighten a space without feeling too intrusive, and the enchanted aesthetic pairs well with just about any design style that a typical floor or table lamp might overpower or feel incongruous in. In warm white, the girl room provide a pleasant radiance that can transform a more austere room into a cheerful wonderland.

Try this little girl’s room idea for a shared bedroom or a bedroom with space for sleepovers. A curved design prevents the white built-in bunks from feeling bulky, while a smattering of carpet tiles add bright, fun color and soften the room’s flooring. Using carpet tiles is a smart move with girls that love to do arts and crafts; if there is a permanent stain on one tile, simply replace it.

Young adults are hard to please so give them lots of input. Provide plenty of storage so there’s no excuse for mess, and make sure they have a good study area. Invest in a trundle bed for those sleepover parties, and let them keep their favourite accessories on display in mounted box shelves.

There are many different steps to decorating a kids room that begin with deciding on a theme and end with choosing what color you wish to adorn the walls with. Obviously you have multiple choices for decorating the walls of your childs bedroom, however the two most popular options are wallpaper and paint. While wallpaper comes in a wide variety of colors, patterns, and textures, it tends to be a much more tedious process with more permanent results. Removing it takes a lot of time and effort, and can also damage your walls. Paint, on the other hand, does not take a lot of time to apply and can easily become a do it yourself project. Plus, as cartoon characters and games become more popular, companies are creating paint colors for girls room that are based off of popular kids shows such as Dora the Explorer and toy brands like Fischer Price. Paint a bright pink and purple girls room that has wall decals of Swiper and Boots or choose a more subtle green that is found in the popular baby brand Luv U Zoo.

While a bedroom should be pleasing to the eye it should also be comfortable too. Oftentimes, bed companions have difficulty in finding a bed that matches both their preferences. This could be because a single person needs to rise while resting while the various other likes a flatter placement for improved comfort. A split flexible bed can provide an excellent compromise that will suit the demands of both individuals.

If you have the space, a dressing area is the ultimate luxury (not just for teens). Good lighting is key (pale walls will help reflect extra light) as is a full-length mirror to ponder over those fashion dilemmas. A tailor’s mannequin adds a quirky, theatrical touch, and will make this lucky room-owner the envy of all her friends.

If you are going to opt for minimalism in only one room in your house, that room should be the bedroom.  No distractions for relaxation and a perfect nights sleep.  Although this white bedroom scheme is definitely minimalist, I like the fact it has warmth due to the herringbone floor and interest added with the contemporary four poster.  The simple bedding looks luxurious too and I would be more than happy to take a nap between those sheets. Image credit

Regardless of your design challenge, when creating a shared room for your little ones if you stick to resourceful, efficient, fun and creative choices, you’ll no doubt create a bedroom your kids will love!

We are in the process of transforming our little one’s nursery into her big girl’s room. I’m going for a Scandinavian style with a touch of colour just like the one in this picture. The ingredients to achieve the perfect kids’s Nordic style room should include geometric patterns – you can use them in items of bedding or storage like boxes and bags. Cool prints to hang on the wall using washi tape. Picture Shelves are great for displaying art, books or small toys/decorative accessories. Adopt a minimal colour palette: black, white and one or two pastel colours. Finally, introduce a Charles Ray Eames table and chairs and an old fashioned looking white metal bed. A must to achieve the perfect Scandinavian look! Image Credit

Hot, tropical colours will make for an energetic bedroom – it might help the girl who lives in it get out of bed faster in the morning, but then again… Hot pinks and deep oranges blend beautifully, while citrus yellow accents, such as the bed frame, and crisp white bed linen cut through the red-based hues to add a fresh hit to the overall look.

A sleigh bed, for example, is a preferred conventional style of bed that can be conveniently combined with deluxe bed linens to produce a conventional, classic look in your bedroom. Of course, if you desire an extra modern look you could take into consideration the very same sleigh bed including modern lines and integrated with solid shades, stripes or geometric patterns.

When choosing the pieces that will decorate your walls, try to keep variety in mind. Play with colors, textures and artistic materials for the artwork itself, and don’t be afraid to mix different sizes, shapes and frame styles.

Once you’ve found the right size bed, it’s time to choose your style. If you’re looking to make a contemporary statement, an oversized headboard will make a striking focal point to your bedroom scheme. Love traditional or country style? A beautifully upholstered headboard  will work like a charm. If you’re a fan of industrial chic or vintage finds, an iron bedframe might be just what you’re after.

Revamping a teenage son’s bedroom? How about this clean-cut but cosy scheme? A stylish ottoman at the end of the bed provides an easy, clear-away-clutter storage solution and a desk doubles up as grooming table in case the young man is fond of a little preening.

For a designer-worthy look, choose a simple color palette of three to four neutral hues and a single, bright accent color like the eye-catching pink in this chic bedroom. Add interest with a variety of bold, trendy patterns and cozy textures like cotton, faux fur, knits, etc.

I love the cool, calm feeling of interior stylist Pella Hedeby’s bedroom, with its abundance of natural light, crisp white linens and beautiful monochrome accents. The cladding on the wall behind the end offers the perfect framed display units for artwork and scented candles, and I always love a low console table at the foot of the bed for displaying coffee table books and keeping rows of footwear organised. Colourful and quirky, everything in this room – from the red squiggle wallpaper to the animal print textiles, owl rug and paper hanging – is fun, which is just what a little girl’s room should be.

The pink and cream in this room is a little girl’s dream. But the sophisticated armoire and chandelier mean that it will suit her for years to come, and can be easily updated by changing the bedding and accessories.

And like Kelllyyy(= said, the balcony, full glass windows, and the giant skylight isn’t somthing the average family has. And avarage family girls are the ones who will be using this website, trying to find ideas. These rooms are more like somthing we dream about. Not actually have in reality.
